U-N-G-R-A-T-E-F-U-L

SHACKLES YOU DIDN'T THINK YOU WERE BOUND BY MAY BE HOLDING YOU BACK. A LOT of folks trod on without consciously thinking of subtle but very important factors that affect their life's journey. One of which is U-N-G-R-A-T-E-F-U-L-N-E-S-S or  the lack of showing appreciation for the people and things that occur in your life on a DAILY basis. No I'm not speaking of our ritualistic "Thank you God for another day" mantra, or "God is Good all the time and all..." yes yes we know them all too well. As much as I am not in a position to dictate to anyone how appreciation should be shown. I believe being in a constant state of reflection on how FORTUNATE or LUCKY(if you wish) we are to be in the presence of opportunities, individuals or actions that makes even an ounce of difference in our daily activities is such a BIG DEAL we would see our actions and mindset gradually change for a more efficient and fulfilling direction.
The mind often times goes on auto-pilot, however for the auto-pilot to be effective first a course or direction must be set, and what affects this direction is our state of mind, and what affects our state of mind is our outlook on the journey, and what affects our outlook on the journey is how we treat or view the different situations we come upon. If we could be more conscious of what occurs around us and what good fruits there are for us to receive, our path or direction would be that much more rewarding. Spend more time in reflection of how grateful you ought to be or spend the rest of your days wondering why the well seems to be dwindling or never has water.

I do concur. Sometimes we only take the time to really appreciate those things or people when they're taken from us. Too little too late....And the thing is we see and hear it so many times and we still take it for granted.

I love the concept that how we function and where we're going is determined by our view of the situations we're faced with. Who we are and become is shaped by what we experience and that's what makes everyone so unique.

Love it.. A beautiful and powerful thought...REAL REAL TALK!
