I hope your laughs turn into tears

Come on everybody, isn't this by far one of the cutest things you have seen in a while? I mean, what better "awww" moment exists? I look at this pic, and the confidence I have in the people guiding our younger generation has increased 10 folds, no a 100 folds! I'm not sure if I'm laughing or crying anymore, never mind me though, as always, I get ahead of myself. I take life too seriously, I need to loosen up a bit, ITS - NOT - AS - BAD - AS - IT - SEEMS!! Silly me here thinking that we are going to the dogs, HA! yeah, silly me.

  1. We are going to the dogs as a people! And then we wonder why our young men have no respect for their female counterparts and what's wrong with our society. Its easy to point fingers at parents and even teachers for that matter.... but the fingers should be pointing at everyone who sit by and allow behaviours such as this to go unchecked, or think its so cool. We can rise above all the negative that's happening in our society but each person has to make the conscious effort to make a worthwhile change....otherwise, we DOOM!!

  2. Jah know star at the end of the day a great man once said "It Takes A Village To Raise A Child". So even though it all starts in the home we as a nation must know that we must seek to instill these proper principles and vaules into the youth through the various facets we have access to.

  3. You Both hit the nail on the head, the guidance, the people responsible for guidance, and the people shying away and destroying their role in terms of guidance.

  4. Is there a place lower than 'the dogs'? Bwoy this is where the lack of respect for others are born and bred. Make no mistakes, this is just a mild case of how morals in our society has been evaporating...... Aw Bwoy wi condition bad BAD!

If they say pictures say a thousand words you should see it in person; then it screams a million sentences at you and leaves you speechless. I've had the displeasure of seeing a child, not 10 years old at a dance n everyone was thrilled when he would behind any girl and 'dagger'. Ugh i'm not sure if i'm sad anymore but i'm definitely angry. I completely agree with Marsha and The-R, we all need to do something.
But I'd love to shed the light on these hurry come-up sperm donors, that go out n impregnate these women n bring a child into this world and then turn and teach that child that's its ok to do that, or be like that. Men who teach their sons from their babies to touch a woman's breast cause 'a man ting dat'.
Then you have these baby carriers that seem to believe their duty stopped after the nine months. And the only thing they want to teach them is to fire guns or dress these babies in the shortest skirts, put braids in their hair before that child's natural hair even finish growing; Paint their nails n parade them in heels cause them grown. And they dont know the first thing about their A B C's, but bwoy dem can whine...smh
I write n fightin the tears cause its a shame to see what so much ppl, n yes not jus the parents, but what adults will teach a child today. And how does that child grow up and learn value and self-worth not jus of themselves but of others? Its like our nation has gone blind, deaf and dumb
